Friends of the Library Welcomes You

Image The Friends of the Elaine I. Sprauve Library support many library programs and services promoting public use of the Library facility and appreciation of its value as a cultural and educational asset to the community.  

We encourage greater public interest for the library, solicit grants and gifts to enhance our library’s involvement  in the community.

 St. John’s public library offers a selection of adult and children's books, videos, and current newspapers and magazines, as well as free Internet Access and a variety of programs and events, all for the betterment of the St. John Community.
Island visitors are always welcome to come read and enjoy the historical landmark as well. 

The Friends of the Library organization also allows the library to apply for grants and receive donations as a volunteer 501 c 3 non profit organization entity.

The Friends of the LIbrary welcome gifts, bequests and grants to further the mission of the library.
